If
someone
really cares for you as a friend or loved one, you know you can trust
them. You know you can count on them to always be there for you and
that no matter what dumb things you might do they won't stop caring
about you, ever.
One of the nasty tricks these guys use is to
get you to trust them and believe that they really care about you
and what happens to you is to make you believe that they care more
about you than anyone else.
You might not realize at first that they are tricking you for their
own personal satisfactions. Don't feel bad if this happens, believe
me they are masters at what they do, and there are so many people,
parents, youth organizations, employers, churches and schools that
they fool, you are in really good company if it happens to you.
It all starts out really great. They are nice
to you and treat you special. They go out of their way to help your
folks with transportation, they might even give you gifts and money
to "help out".
They could be a really true friend, if things change though, you'll
begin to see what I mean. They will begin getting you alone more,
being more "touchy feely" with you. They will start trying
to introduce you to x-rated movies, porn movies, magazines and pictures.
If you begin to see this kind of behavior, be very suspicious, and
resist accepting it as ok. Tell someone you trust and tell them as
soon as you realize there may be a problem. If its a family member,
its vital to trust someone. If you are afraid to tell your parents
or any other family member, tell your most trusted school teacher
or counselor, or your minister. If you are too nervous about telling
